Actress Amy Schumer Confirms Separation from Husband of Seven-Year Marriage
Entertainer Amy Schumer has announced that she and her spouse, culinary expert Chris Fischer are divorcing following a seven-year union.
The actress shared in an Instagram post on Friday, accompanied by a picture of the pair on a train, that they had made the "tough choice" to separate and will continue to focus on parenting their young child.
"It's friendly, with total love and respect! Family forever," she said.
The 44-year-old Schumer and 45-year-old Fischer, exchanged vows in early 2018 and had their son a year later.

Schumer also joked in the online announcement that the split is not "because I dropped some lbs" and not on account of Fischer being a "award winning chef who can still attract attention".
